WHAT IS THE MEANING OF YOUR LIFE

The Buddha gave 84,000 teachings on Dharma or the Truth and at Thekchen Choling, we explore these Truths in a variety of ways.

We all have different priorities in life, so whatever your personal beliefs,

we have suggestions below on how you can learn more about the Truth of Life according to Buddha

and incorporate elements of it into your life, every day.

Spiritual Well-being

Let’s face it. Life can get stressful. Let’s face it. Life can get stressful.

In the pursuit of good health and happiness, people often prioritise physical well-being and neglect emotional and spiritual health. Others rely on getaway holidays and return only to feel more drained and tired.

We all need some quality “me time”, to quieten our minds and be comfortable with ourselves. But given the opportunity to reflect and look within ourselves, what should we even hope to find? The Buddha taught that all sentient beings already have a seed of enlightenment or Buddha nature planted deep within us. Through spiritual practice, we dust away lifetimes of spiritual grime and dirt to uncover the gem within ourselves. You don’t have to journey the spiritual path alone. Click in to find out how you can leverage a community of Truth-seekers like yourself.

Family & Harmony

Where would we be without family? Our parents that brought us to this world and cared for us, our life partner that supports us through life’s journeys and for some of us, kids, that motivate us to be better humans. While no one has the perfect life, we can all aspire to live the best life we can, for ourselves, our family and others. If your family is your motivation, then come see what new boundaries this Dharma family can help you reach.

Wealth

While a life of wealth could mean riches in many ways, some of us are unabashedly focused on material wealth. In this day, money isn’t everything but without money, it can get exponentially difficult to focus on living to benefit others. We don’t believe money is the root of all evil. We believe in the innate goodness that is in you, that you will find it in yourself to benefit the beings around you with life’s blessings and wealth.
